Characteristics: Annual or perennial shrub

Compact bush to 1 m, tapered fruit to 40mm, green changing to red useful for hot chilli vinegar, best harvested when red, suitable for drying. Heat 7-8.
Adaptable to most garden soils but prefers a well-drained, well fed soil in a sunny position. Annual in temperate climates perennial in the tropics.
Capsicums require warmth for germination, if starting early provide warmth.
