Rudbeckia 'Marmalade' is a compact variety that blooms golden-orange flowers with a diameter of 12cm during the spring and summer seasons in temperate climates. These plants can grow up to 45cm tall and are suitable for various garden settings, such as flower beds, borders, cutting gardens, and containers. They are good pollinator plants that attract beneficial insects to the garden that self seed. Grow random drifts or grouped for best effect.
Rudbeckia thrives best in full sun or partial shade.

They are self-seeding and can adapt to most moist soils in an open, sunny or partially shaded postion.

Rudbeckia hirta, also known as black-eyed Susan, is a flowering plant native to Eastern and Central North America and.It has been naturalized in the Western part of North America as well as in China. 
This plant has been discovered in all 10 Canadian Provinces and in all 48 contiguous states of the United States. Rudbeckia hirta has been designated as the state flower of Maryland.

Tropical: Late autumn to mid-spring
Temperate: Mid-winter to mid-summer
Cold: Spring.
Sow on the surface and cover lightly (1mm) as the seed requires light to germinate. Best sown directly in growing position or if growing in trays transplant when big enough to handle.
If sowing for mass plantings scatter on roughened soil and rake cover lightly.

Germination: 10-14 days at soil temperatures of 20-22°C
