Deliciously scented flowers that come in to their own in the evening, sow anywhere that is close enough to the house to get the benefit of the wonderful fragrance.

Stems of small pale lilac flowers that are ideal for beds and borders preferring full sun or partial shade.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. Prefers a rich loose soil but will tolerate dry poor soils.

Tropical: Autumn.
Temperate: Mid-summer to Autumn.
Cold: Mid-summer to Autumn.

Sow: 3mm deep.
Sow direct or in trays transplant when 5 cm high, avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 10-14 days.
Plant space: 30cm
Flowering: 20 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
