A colourful mix of diffrent basils
This Italian ‘pesto’ basil is powerfully flavoured and authentic basil with large leaves. Has the reputation of being the best pesto basil available.
Thai basil has lush deep green leaves, purplish flower buds and stems and carries anise overtones to its sweet basil scent. Extensively used in Thai cooking, add to green and red curries or spicy stir-fried dishes. The flower buds are also edible.
Culinary herb with a zesty lime aroma and taste. Compact plant 50-60 cm high with 4 cm bright green leaves. Good basil for pasta dishes and makes a make a unique pesto.
The most lemony of all lemon basil with the plant producing good yields of lemon flavoured basil leaves. Considered by many as the finest lemon basil available.
Adaptable to most well-drained soil in a protected sunny position with an adequate amount of water.
