Old Italian heirloom variety of sweet capsicum that produces curved fruits up to 20 cm long. The fruits can be harvested green or red after 70-90 days

Adaptable to most garden soils but prefers a well-drained, well fed soil in a sunny position. Annual in temperate climates perennial in the tropics.

Capsicums require warmth for germination, if starting early provide warmth.

Sow: 6mm deep.
Grow in trays of a good seed raising mix and transplant when 6-7cm tall.
Germination: 10-14 days.
Plant space: 50cm

Maturity: 10-12 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
