An extremely versatile pumpkin that is renowned for its sweet nutty taste. An all-time favourite and probably the most widely used as it is easier to cut than most other hard-skinned pumpkins 
Delicious as a roast or steamed vegetable or as an alternative to pumpkin in pies, roasts, or soups.

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.

Sow: 2cm deep
Sow 3-4 seeds in raised mounds 1 metre apart directly in the growing position. Thin to the two strongest plants in each mound.
